Itineraries
Day 1
Arrival at Nainital
Once you arrive at the Delhi airport/railway station, start for Nainital. Nainital is approximately 324 km away from Delhi. Once you reach, check in the resort or any other place of accommodation, freshen up, and take some rest. If you reach by the evening, then head out to the mall road of Nainital and spend some time acclimatizing with the environment. You can also take a stroll around Naini lake.
Day 2
Nainital Sightseeing
Start early morning to cover all the destinations in Nainital. Visit the Naina Devi shrine, Tiffin top, Cave garden, Land end, and Lover’s point. In the evening, spend some peaceful moments boating in the Naini lake. Stroll around the mall road again and, this time try some of the special dishes of Uttarakhand
Day 3
Transfer to Ranikhet – Local sightseeing
Ranikhet is a quaint little town and a beautiful hill station in the state of Uttarakhand and it definitely should be on your itinerary. The distance of Ranikhet from Nainital is around 57.6 km which offers a very scenic drive. Upon arrival, check-in the hotel and later head out for the sightseeing of Ranikhet. Visit the Haidakhan Babai shrine, Chaubatia Garden, Jhula Devi shrine, Tarikhet Village and Bhalu Dam.
Day 4
Ranikhet to Almora
After breakfast start for Almora. A small town located at a distance of 45.9 kms from Ranikhet. It is home to one of the ancient temples of Uttarakhand – Katarmal Surya Temple Adheli Sunar. This place is maintained and protected by the archaeological survey of India. And other than this, enjoy the scenic beauty of the snow view mountains in the back.
Day 5
Almora to Kausani
Start early morning for Kausani which is 80 kms away from Almora. The main highlight of this place is its splendor beauty. Also, pay a visit to the Badrinath shrine which houses an ancient idol Siva Vaidyanatha.
Day 6
Kausani to Jim Corbett
After breakfast, depart to one of the well-known wildlife sanctuaries of India – Jim Corbett National Park. It is also known to be the pride of Uttarakhand. Enjoy all the wonderful scenery on the way to Corbett. It is located about 200 kms from Kausani, so once you reach, check in the hotel and freshen up yourself and spend the evening doing leisure activities. And rejuvenate yourself for the next day’s trip
Day 7
Jungle Safari at Jim Corbett
Day 7 is completely dedicated to the Jim Corbett national park trip. With enthralling views of the Himalayan ranges in the backdrop, the jungle safari is a lifetime experience you can enjoy on your Uttarakhand trip.
