Itineraries

Day 1

Meals: Dinner
On arrival at Delhi Airport/Railway Station and leave for Manali and on the way, you will be covering places -Vaishno Devi Temple, Kullu. After reaching Manali check into the Hotel.Dinner and overnight stay in Hotel.
About Manali
One day, Varvasvata, the seventh incarnation of Manu found a tiny fish in his bathing water. The fish told him to look after it with devotion as one day it would do him a great service. The seventh Manu cared for the fish till the day it grew so huge that he released it into the sea. Before departing, the fish warned Manu of an impending deluge when the entire world would be submerged and bade him build a seaworthy ark. When the flood came, Varvasvata and seven sages were towed to safety by MATSYA, the fish which is regarded as the first avatar of Lord Vishnu. As the water subsided the seventh Manu's ark came to the rest on a hillside and the place was named Manali (2050 m) after him.
As the flood slowly dried, here arose a place of breath-taking natural beauty which was only appropriate at Manali that life began again. Today this legendary cradle of all humankind is a prime holiday destination. There are high mountains surrounded by snow and deep boulder-strewn gorges. There are thick forests full of cool breeze and bird songs. There are fields of wildflowers, small picturesque hamlets and fruit-laden orchards.

Day 2

This day after breakfast you’ll be going to visit Solang valley. In this valley, you can explore ski points and adventure activities (not included). And you can see the beautiful mountain ranges of the Himalayas covered with the bed of snow and lush deodar trees. After enjoying at Solang valley.
About Solang valley
Solang Valley in Manali is located at a distance of 13 km in a side valley at the top of the Kullu valley is a splendid valley between Solang village and Beas Kund. Solang valley offers the view of glaciers and snow-capped mountains and peaks. Solang Valley has fine ski slopes. The Mountaineering Institute of Manali has installed a ski lift for training purposes. Located here is a hut and guest house of the Mountaineering and Allied sports Institute, Manali. Now a few hotels have also come up. The winter skiing festival is organized in Solang Valley. Skiing and Paragliding are two main activities are organized here. Apart from this many other adventure sports are available like Zorbing, Horse riding & Snow Motor Bikes riding etc.
After visiting Solang Valley proceeds for local sightseeing of Manali and visit - “HADIMBA TEMPLE” Built-in 1553 with a superbly crafted four tiered pagoda roof, it is famous for its exquisitely carved doorway.“ CLUBHOUSE” The Club House with its comprehensive facilities that include a roller skating rink, an auditorium, billiards rooms, a library, a bar and restaurant makes wonderful outing for the day.”Tibetan Monastery, Van Vihar, and “VASHIST” are Well known for their hot springs. There are old temples dedicated to the sage Vashisht and Lord Rama. In the evening back to the hotel and enjoy your dinner and stay.

Day 3

After crossing the Rohtang Pass to Tandi. The first halt comes at Marhi, a tiny, barren village offering stunning views of the valley and mountains. Next, you proceed towards Rohtang Pass. Located 3978 metres above sea level, it is the Gateway to Lahaul and Spiti Valley! Crossing this pass reveals a stunning change in the scenery around the route, such that it has been featured in several Bollywood films like Yeh Jawani Hai Deewani and Jab We Met, and is sure to leave you mesmerized. You then pass Khoksar, a village on the banks of the Chandra river, towards your destination for the day, Tandi. This village has the last petrol pump on the Manali-Leh highway and offers an exquisite view of the confluence between the Chandra and Bhaga rivers. Dinner and stay for the night is at our campsite in Sarchu. Sarchu, a major halt point on the Manali-Leh highway

Day 4

After breakfast, you check out from the campsite and begin the day’s journey towards Leh.Along the way, you travel through. You then pass the Gata Loops known for the 21 hair-pin bends followed by traversing through Nakeela Pass and the Lachung La Pass to reach Pang. The nextphase of this journey takes you across the Morai Plains known for the straight 50 km- long road amidst the mountains as you climb towards the Tanglang La Pass, thesecond highest motorable pass and cross the Indus river to finally reach Leh. To acclimatize with the climate of Leh and Dinner with stay for the night will be at your hotel in Leh.
About Leh
Leh is the joint capital and largest city of the region administered by India as a union territory of Ladakh. Leh, located in the Leh district, was also the historical capital of the Kingdom of Ladakh, the seat of which was in the Leh Palace, the former residence of the royal family of Ladakh, built in the same style and about the same time as the Potala Palace in Tibet. Leh is at an altitude of 3,524 m (11,562 ft), and is connected via National Highway 1 to Srinagar in the southwest and to Manali in the south via the Leh-Manali Highway (part of National Highway 3).Set amidst the epic Himalayas, Ladakh is a rustic and heavenly beautiful travel destination. The rugged valleys and mountains, winding roads coupled with the vibrant cultural life maintain the exuberance and charm of this region. The iconic Magnetic Hill, the turquoise coloured Pangong Lake, the confluence of two mystical rivers, ancient and awe inspiring monasteries and the highest passes are a few of the marvelous attractions of Leh and Ladakh in general. Day 5

Spend the day exploring the beautiful city of Leh. You will be visiting Shanti Stupa that boasts a panoramic view of the city, War Memorial Hall of Fame, Gurudwara PatharSahib, the mysterious Magnetic Hill and the sensational confluence of the rivers Indus and Zanskar - Sangam Valley! If time permits, you can even visit the Spituk
Monastery and the majestic Leh Palace. The focal point of the day - Zanskar River Rafting*, in Leh is one of the most adventurous activities in the world. This rafting is Grade 3+, the highest rating and ends at Sangam! After rafting, you drive back to Leh for dinner and stay for the night at the hotel.

Day 6

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast, you set off on another exhilarating journey by SUV or Bikes (as perthe package purchased) via the Chang La Pass, the world’s third highest motorable pass! You travel to Pangong Lake, situated at a height of 4350 meters above sea level, this is the world’s highest saltwater lake. With crystal clear waters, in every breathtaking shade of blue imaginable, this lake is one of the best attractions of Ladakh. Two-thirds of this lake lies in China while a third lies in India and freezes completely during the winter months. Dinner and stay for the night will be at our campsite.

Day 7

Witness the awe-inspiring sunrise over the Pangong lake to begin your day. Be sure to get some good pictures! After breakfast, you depart for Nubra Valley along theleast travelled route. This route is along the Shyok Valley of the Shyok river. It ispopularly known as the river of death since the route is a difficult one and hardlyopted for. You reach Nubra Valley by late afternoon giving you a chance to enjoy the sand dunes in the cold desert of Hunder. Later that evening, you can even get acamel ride* on the two-humped bactrian camels. Dinner and stay for the night will be at Hunder.

*Kindly note that the camel ride is optional and the cost for the same is not included in the package.

Day 8

Day 9

With each day bringing a new adventure, why should today be any different? Yourfirst stop for the day will be the Diskit Monastery (in case you were unable to visit itthe day before). The beautiful, milky-white monastery is the oldest and largest one in Nubra! You can also try the off-road thrill on an ATV in the desert!* Today’sexhilarating journey then takes you across Khardung La, which at about 5400 meters is one of the highest motorable passes in the world! Travel along North Pullu andKhardung village with a halt at North Pullu for lunch. You then continue onward to South Pullu and reach Leh by evening. Depending on the time you reach Leh, youhave the opportunity to go shopping that evening. Dinner and stay for the night will be at the hotel in Leh.

Day 10

Wake up to a beautiful morning in the mountains and have a hearty breakfast.Get ready for an adventurous drive back to Sarchu, overnight stay and dinner at camps in Sarchu.

Day 11

Meals: Breakfast& Dinner
After breakfast check out from camps and drive towards Manali, visit Keylong on the way and reach Manali by Atal Tunnel,overnight stay at Manali hotel with dinner.

Day 12

Meals: Breakfast & Dinner
After breakfast check out from hotel and drive towards Delhi, the cab will drop you at Delhi Airport /Railway Station to catch onwards flight or train..
